Back in 1994, I came to Miami to study at FIU from Novosibirsk where I worked at Budker's Institute of Nuclear Physics in Computer Science Department after graduating Novosibirsk State University. At School of Computer Science

I joined in 1994 Dr. Rishe's team, which eventually became High Performance Database Research Center in 1995.  Till Summer 1997, I was doing my Ph.D. program and  was working at the center. I joined Center for Advanced Distributed Systems Engineering (CADSE) in the fall of 1998. 

After graduating my Ph.D. program during Summer of 2000, I joined Concept Five Technologies, then Hitachi Computer Products (America) near Boston. Now, I'm working as an Assistant Professor at UBC. See my professional page for more information about what I'm doing
